LVPD made a lengthy statement about it today. Basically they called Bennett's description of the event inaccurate. Apparently there are more than 120 security cameras that captured the event and nothing, according to LVPD, shows the officers did anything wrong (they did say they are still reviewing).
I did see one video and although Bennett is on the ground handcuffed, I don't see any officer with a gun drawn. It appears, at least in the one video, that he added a lot to the situation that didn't occur.
Bennett has a history of playing the race card. And he said this was an issue of racism. According to LVPD, both officers were Hispanic. Although I am sure MSNBC will label them white hispanics.
Also strange that Bennett didn't bring it up on social media the day after it happened if it went down like he claims.
I also will never understand people thinking there might not be video on anything that happens in or around a Vegas casino or the Vegas strip.

That's one of the most surveilled and videotaped towns in America (not even accounting for all the cellphones walking around taking pictures/video), maybe the world. I've toured the Vegas LVPD/Clark County SO Fusion Center and nearly all those casino feeds go directly there as well as to the individual casino security units.
So.... if a buddy of mine was like, doing something (allegedly) a little off the Bellagio buffet a couple months ago.... the cops had a view of it? A friend wants to know. He didn't do anything like that though, just hypothetically spit balling here. I almost hesitate to even ask, it's such a hypothetical.

And now here we are. Interesting point in hindsight.

Yeah, me too. Yay.Yep.
I imagine I will be attending some conference or something where an after action review about the whole incident will be presented at some point.
