I can't be the only one on here who's genuinely lost interest in the daily R vs. D battle? It used to be interesting. Bill, George, Barak... Maybe I'm just burnt out. All the damn crying wolf by whoever isn't in the majority at the time and every day is the next democracy challenging scandal.

I'm just numb to it. Wake me up when something really happens.

As long as Trump continues to appoint conservative judges, bicker away. I just can't muster enough fvcks to give.

I'm considering retirement.

Good thread. Would read again.

How's spring where you are?

Stillwater has had a much needed abundance of rain in the past 60 days. Broke the drought for the folks.

For me started with Bush the elders "No new taxes" and has continued since. While the ex-rodent in chief was a huge downer, Bush II also grew government and partook of some absolutely asinine things.

IMHO the only thing that ever reverses course is a States Convention. Otherwise it's hard to see a truely prosperous future lead by any group of people in the current clown car that is congress.

I'm not even sure a States Convention helps given the polarity of so many states.

Interesting. As the wheels come off the Trump Train you boys will all fade into the background blaming partisanship and the deep state rather than the clown standing in the center ring...

The left's obsession with Trump is further destroying the democrat party which is already in the lower level of the crapper. I'm entertained by it.

No, it more of the left's unending autistic screeching every time he blows his nose. It's taking apathy to a whole new level, which is very bad for the country as a whole.

Have you ever thought maybe adopting a political ideology about what's good for the country? Kind of the old JFK approach?

Where did I say this was my political philosophy? I said this is what I'm paying attention to anymore. I was referring to the general level of noise and frenzy the media whips about about just about anything Trump. But Russian boogeymen, upside-down lapel pins, Ivanka's dresses, etc. are just noise. As for my ideology, I want what's good for the country and I agree with the JFK approach: "Ask not what the country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." But snowflake items such as safe spaces (from alternative ideas), transgender bathrooms, free college, expanded food stamps, etc...seem to fall in the "what the country can do for you" category. And that's all i see asked for.
