Yes I know this is shocking given that whitey is taking it on the chin and whatnot. There is an article attached to this article stating that the same leaders in Zimbabwe who ran off the farmers now are asking they return......only its on a 99 year lease, won't own the land you owned previously. Yea see lots of takers on that.

One of my favorite comments of all time as well attached to this article....

That there is what you call an 'uncomfortable truth'! The truth is that leftists and liberals, for all their pretended virtue and enlightenment, are the worst bigots and thugs you will ever meet. They verbally denounce both violence and racism, but practice it to its darkest and filthiest extremes.

Seems like reprisal is the solution in South Africa although Zimbabwe seems to have learned that not knowing how to work the land is detrimental to their economy regardless of what color the landowners are.
Seizing property because revenge is always the start of something good. I can't see anything going awry. It won't be long before the ANC turns South Africa into a shithole.

Hahahaha

I hope they end up with a flourishing and safe country and prove this was the smart thing to do.

Zimbabwe has just been working out the bugs on this policy. I’m sure all will be fine soon.

Ruining your economy, destroying your agriculture production for the sake of social justice seems to be the playbook for democratic socialists.

Good luck South Africa. Let's bring it to America.

The African National Congress, the ruling party in SAfrica, backed off on confiscations of white farmers' land presumably due to the international uproar.

There were also articles recently saying white farmers were preparing to use their guns to defend themselves and their property against these seizures.

In response, the newest tactic to take the farms and other property is to confiscate the guns. Totalitarian regimes do things like this to achieve their goals and solidify their power.

Farmer murders in SA have decreased and are at their lowest in years.

Makes me think of the late activist Mama lookaboobooday when she said

Kill kill kill the white man
Kill the white man

I watched a documentary from a UK (i think) generalist about 3 weeks ago and it made me cross out a visit from my bucket list. (at least right now)

I have not seen a peep from our media about this.

Yep, it is also strange why so many whites came to own so many slaves in the US. I guess that gives them both a good reason to kill others. Shit, it has only been ~100 years on both sides.

I wonder why? Maybe because they have already been white genocided enough that there aren't many left to kill?

Not every minority group has a subsidized ethnostate they can flee to (protected by a giant wall).

Apartheid ended in the early 90s.

Not sure what slavery in America has to do with any of this.

I took his point wrong, maybe. I am really not sure, based on what I have read or watched lately that apartheid is over. Maybe, I have some bad info and I am not trying to really prove or say that I know about it much. Only offering some info on what I have seen as of late for some discussion.

Might should have used ~200 years but..

Maybe I misunderstood your point. I took it to imply whites taking land that was not theirs and now paying for it. (slavery type repercussions)
I was just wondering how whites came to own the majority of the farm land in a place like South Africa. Did they buy it fair and square?

To sum it up:

1. African National Congress has backed off the confiscation of white farmer’s lands;
2. The killing of white farmer’s is at an all time low in SA;
3. SA doesn’t have a 2nd Amendment;
4. Racial tensions in SA are still high 25 years after nearly 50 years of Apartheid (shocking, I know).

Does that about cover it?

Why the sudden focus? When killings of white farmers are lower than ever? Mayhaps “manufactured outrage”? Nah....couldn’t be that.

Also, I thought we were getting out of the policing the world business.

A couple of thoughts;

1. If people are getting hurt/killed and there is now more media focus, would it not be a good move to "back off" publicly?
2. Maybe #1 is one reason?
3. Not sure what the US 2nd Amendment has to do with SA.
4. #1 again.

I am not as smart as some of you (see above for a couple of exceptions) so I am not picking a fight.

My posts only discussed the confiscation of land and the reversal of that position by the ANC and the confiscation of guns. Sorry, I never mentioned anything about killing of farmers---white or black.

Oh, and one post discussing shitholes of the world.

1. Sure....possible.
2. Killing of white farmers has been on a downward trend for several years. So it’s not a situation of backing off because of recent media reports.
3. Imprimis’s post mentioned the seizure and destruction of weapons of their citizens so they can’t defend themselves. That’s why I mentioned it.
4. No, I don’t think certain people in the media, this threa and politics fanning the flames of supposed white genocide helps ease racial tensions at all.

Finally, relax....we’re just having a friendly discussion and exchange of opinions here.

Indeed, you didn’t. No specifically. You did mention the taking of guns that white farmers were preparing to use to defend themselves and their farms from seizures....so you at did at least tangentially mention the potential of bodily harm to white farmers.

Nevertheless, sorry for quoting your post and then giving a recap of the entire discussion.
