It is sad innocents are dying, but had the Balfour agreement and countless other meddling adventures not been committed I suspect much of what we see today would not be happening. Democracy as a true practice in those places, is years off if it ever happens.

Here's a question. Why didn't the two victims fight back? I get it that the soldiers were armed with guns/knives. But, I'd like to think that if I was one of those guys I would go out trying to strangle one of those murdering assholes, or try to poke an eyeball out of the dude's head. At some point, it became clear that the victims were not going to survive the ordeal.

To answer your question, I'd have never invaded Iraq and gotten out of Afghanistan after we got OBL. I'd have not called Obama weak for not fighting ISIS more, and then pretend Putin's ally is better. If I were going to hit Assad, it wouldn't be 59 missiles at a shed at an airport and bombers fly out later that day. I also wouldn't call ahead and tell them we're about to bomb themso they can get their shit out first. I'd probably tweet that video if I was Biff, and diplomatically pressure them to stop. Pretend it's Rosie O'Donnell and react with that kind of energy and commitment.
All that said, I'm reluctant to really lay into a U.S. POTUS for reactions to issues over there. Not a lot of "good" options. The one thing I AM confident saying is that Dumbya and Fatass' Iraq expedition has proven to be our biggest foreign policy blunder since Vietnam.
