Ironically my son sent 75-80 pages of the first draft of his new novel for his mother and me to read, and you are correct that he writes circles around Taibbi insofar as writing skill is concerned. But I disagree with your assessment of what Taibbi wrote in this piece. Anyone that describes Biden as "a corpse with a slew of known corruption charges" is writing at peak skill.
