Matt Lauer, no one knew-------outside of everyone who knew him.

This is no surprise, my first reaction to the shock of the NBC staff on TV was BS. Employees know WTH is going on, who has an alcohol or drug problem, who is creepy and a perv, who loves sex and is willing to perform, etc...

Besides, everyone on the show with him was making big bucks, they were all co-dependent.

My hope is Lauer decides the only way to make this right is to expose how bad it was, to admit all that he did to those young interns and then to tell everyone how he bent over all these married female co-anchors that used him liked he used them and then feigned all this unknowing shock. Men are getting and deserve a bad rap right now, but there is also plenty of sexually aggressive women attracted to power that also have power.

I believe some of the females that had some power at NBC wanted to bed Lauer, and betrayed many other women at NBC that wanted no part of Lauer and turned a blind eye and created an atmosphere that all women were game, bad enough the attitude of the men was this way. The jokes are funny because there is a bunch of truth to them, those women enjoyed the sexually charged environment. I feel bad for Ann Curry, she was abused there IMO.

I have no proof, but that is the way it looks to me. Out the whole thing Lauer, your bosses and the female co-workers that empowered you and were Co-dependent and left a lot of young women defenseless.

20 million a year man who has predilections feels untouchable. Human nature. Most of us will never be tested with that kind of power. Let's just break it down to our experiences at OSU. Really good looking guys and really rich guys who flaunted it got a lot more attention and the girls were lined up to do them.

They had plenty of willing participants but it is human nature to go after the hot ones who don't fall for their power. Those girls parents taught them morals. Those are the girls who were abused. Some dudes don't take no because they've never got it from anyone. A lot of girls are to embarrassed to report the cool dudes abuse because they feel falsely like they are responsible. It's been going on for ever.

This is a good point.

Meredith Viera was quite the horny co-host. Many years ago when she hosted Who Wants to be a Millionaire, she got all twitterpated when a handsome Navy officer came on the program. She gushed so much they had to put seat belts on her chair to keep her from sliding off.
