Maybe I'm way off base but I really believe Mason had a hand issue today. His balls were often not coming out in a spiral and he was high on everything. Maybe not but something about his mechanics looked off.
He's do a bad game like anyone and he has been missing high at times this year but I don't think he gets pulled to run draws and zone reads when you still have some " safer" throws he could at least attempt without great risk.
To be fair to the coaches though, he did look very unsettled and perhaps I'm reading to much into it.
