I hate it for the young man who by all reports did not have a good home life and believe me I am not gloating about this at all. It is truly sad for him I hope he can get straightened out for life but it appears his wrestling career is over. I truly will pray for him.Arrested for an overnight altercation on LHU campus and later at a hospital. Sad to see. Hope you forgets wrestling and gets his life in order.

He is going to need someone have a powerful influence on his life and if it does not come from his family I hope and pray that someone appears. Wrestling is character building for many an athlete but it has not worked for him. He needs to completely revamp his outlook and I really do not believe wrestling is or should be in his future. I am no expert in this but it just seems to me that he dominated so much early in his career due to his innate strength and ability that when he wanted to step up to the next level he did not have the background and family around him to accomplish this.Man....really sad. Hope he gets his life in order. There's more to life then this sport!
I'm an PSU fan but I'd have no reservations in saying that he had just that sort of person you are referring to in your post above. I can't think of many people that would be a better influence on a troubled young man than Coach Smith. I think it's a real shame that he didn't latch on to coach and learn to live life the right way. Maybe he let the wrestling aspect of things get in the way of learning other more important aspects of life. Maybe not.. But hopefully this becomes a real eye opener for the young man.He is going to need someone have a powerful influence on his life and if it does not come from his family I hope and pray that someone appears. I could not agree with you more Johnstownsteel. John is a wrestler's coach and he does care about his protégés personally. Chance was suspended from our team but he did have the opportunity to return but chose instead to go to Lock Haven. He may not have wanted to pay the price to get back in good graces with our program. He may now be paying the price and a steep one for his decision. This is definitely not a knock on Lock Haven. Chance had his demons at OSU also.I'm an PSU fan but I'd have no reservations in saying that he had just that sort of person you are referring to in your post above.
