Thunder assistant Mark Daigneault was just promoted to head coach, signaling they're looking to develop young talent for the next few years. Can anyone back me up on this – I'm pretty sure he was mentioned as an OSU candidate after Underwood left. He was the Thunder's G-League coach at the time, and if I remember correctly, one of the college basketball guys listed him on what was, at the time, a pretty discouraging (but realistic...) list of head coaching candidates that also included Kermit Davis. Does this ring a bell for anyone else?
