Less shit made in Communist China would be a great start and our landfills would benefit as well as people that have to buy a new whatever every few months that cannot afford it.

I personally don't agree with tariffs. Bad economics imo. But, remember, our own govt makes certain products and resources more expensive for its own people in the name of perceived climate change, perceived safety, etc. So you can't be against one tariff/tax and for another.
