Lots of leaks at the FBI

Faux News, no credibility, move along, nothing to see here - did I omit anything?:D

I'm certain it's dawned on the Clinton's and their inner circle (along with others throughout government and beyond) that it's highly likely some or all will spend time behind bars if Trump is elected. Therefore, I believe it will not be subtle in the degree to which the democratic apparatus overtly tries to steal this election.

I hope I'm wrong but I believe we will see things happen never before imagined the next 6 days.

I normally get up every morning at about 5:15 and spend an hour or so on the treadmill while watching Married with Children. For about the last two, maybe three mornings they have been running an anti-Hildabeast ad that has Nixon saying his famous "I think the American people should know their president is not a crook" line and then some barbs on The Hildabeast. The final shot is of The Hildabeast forefront and Nixon looking out the window (probably the WH). Very powerful ad!

You must be ripped.

I watch the Bundy's as well in the AM but because I'm sick and tired of the political talk.

CB, hardly ripped....I just look at a piece of Pecan pie and gain two pounds! I go an hour in the morning, walk 2+ miles before lunch (weather permitting) and then another 3 - 4 miles in the evening. Am trying to get back down to 205 (and hit 10 miles a day walking), after going from 246 to 187, then back up to 227 (because I travel so much for work its hard to stay in any routine). Now when I travel though, always find pre-made salads, yogurt and other low fat items take them to the hotel room and never leave for a meal, plus always hit the treadmill at least once a day there.

As far as Al, love the show have the box set and get a huge kick out of many of the things they say...this morning Al said, "Retirement; that's when a man dies and a women gets married." But I'm like Imprimis there....anything but the political stuff in the AM.

Was at a Fusion Center Conference in DC a week ago.

Lots of FBI Agents from across the nation. Fusion Center liaisons, joint terrorism task force reps, staff from HQ.

Comey spoke at the conference, and a not inconsiderable number of those agents refused to stay and left during his speech. It was very weird. Most of the agents talking off the record in the bar and hospitality rooms were in open contempt of the no prosecution decision. I could definitely see lots of opportunities for inside sources just in those meetings.

Thanks! I'm not going to drink another beer and start pretending to know what's going on, but I think he lost all credibility with his "hall pass" earlier. Not sure whether reopening the investigation is him doing CYA, but do think he might now "get it". We shall see.

That's great, keep it up man!

That was what all the agents were claiming was the problem...the hall pass. It was pretty apparent the rank and file agents were in pretty open revolt.

I don't think reopening the investigation was a CYA with his employees necessarily. I do think announcing it very publicly instead of discreetly and quietly to only key congressional committee memebers was.

I was pretty shocked about how openly FBI Agents were talking about their internal dirty laundry with people they barely new. Our Fusion Center Director retired from the FBI at a fairly high level which may have loosened their tongue (that and the alcohol) a bit.....but damn, they liked to talk about stuff they probably shouldn't have. Lol.

The problem here is the Jenny Carlson issue. You can make up anything you want and say, 'I was told this by an insider' and it is completely non-disprovable or non-provable.

I'm sorry, but anyone with the actual know at the FBI is not going to go around blabbing constantly to reporters. However a reporter can SAY someone is and be fully protected from having to prove it was or wasn't a lie.

Wow, somebody who has the actual know. Thanks for letting us know what FBI agents won't do. I was about to believe some lawyer who works in law enforcement and was at a Fusion Center conference in DC until I read your post.

I believe JD. Over the years I've spoken with people in several professions who would have access and knowledge of highly sensitive information. Get a bit of alcohol in them and their lips become loose.

But MajorMike said those with actual know don't go around blabbering, so these people you speak of probably didn't have actual know.

Lol. My experience with the FBI is pretty much the exact opposite. Individual Agents gossip and disclose stuff they know and shouldn't disclose like teenage girls after a couple of wine coolers.

Hey....believe what you want though.

Quit Jenny Carlsoning. Maybe you've met some FBI agents who have blabbered, but they weren't from THE FBI with the actual know, because they don't blabber.

Again, when you can't argue the facts, make it personal. At least this forum is consistent.

Just from reading this thread it appears JD was stating facts given he was the one in attendance. I read nothing personal in what he said other than what he personally witnessed.

I didn't vouch for the alleged inside sources cited in the article. They may or may not exist. I didn't vouch for the accuracy of what I was personally told by FBI Agents.

I did state facts of my personal experiences last week that indicate it is a target rich environment for FBI sources to the media right now because there are a lot of disgruntled agents in DC and across the nation.

Then you seemingly questioned my credibility and veracity by saying "you can make up anything....." after quoting me.

Just saying....

For the record, I didn't make it personal. What I stated about my experiences last week are facts. I don't care whether you believe it or not, it happened.

My wife used to work with a couple of women who's husbands were FBI agents. We used to go out socially with them regularly. You wouldn't believe the things they told me over some stiff glasses of scotch.

Field agents are pissed and had Comey not reopened there would be a very embarrassing revolt.

Comey is not career FBI he's actually a DOJ guy, they have no loyalty to him at all.

Truth. I work in financial reporting and previously worked in financial auditing and have been told numerous things at happy hours in my short career that weren't meant for my ears. On a different note, my wife used to nanny for the kids of a DEA agent, and he told her all sorts of things about cases he was working that would blow your mind.

The point is, @MajorMike_Ret is wrong in stating that people in possession of sensitive info never share it with others, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Yep squeak, that's exactly what the Major did last week to me....I made no personal attack on him, yet he claimed thus. Think it was the donger that pointed out there was no personal attack. The Major losses an argument and claims that something said is a personal affront/attack, obfuscating the fact he has lost the argument (which everyone but him can understand).

JD is one of the most even keeled people on this board, and if you think he would come on here and "make things up" then I would have to call into question whether your slightly unhinged are all the way there.

While I was in the military I saw, heard and witnessed things that were not meant for my consumption. Test maybe, who knows. But people who are pissed, have information that is making them bust at the seams and drinking do spill the beans from time to time, especially when it tarnishes the very organization they represent and are devoted to.
