Dr. Gerald R. Kirk, longtime professor of anatomy at OSU-COM. I think I as in one of his last classes. I was in his class in 97-98 when we were on a 5-0 run to start the season, he came in late one morning for lecture and said, "sorry guys, was on the phone talkin OSU football.." I used to see him at the games some after I graduated med school, we would talk some football and whatnot. Hadn't seen him in a long time and just found out about his passing this weekend. Not sure how many OSU docs there are on these boards, but if you are one and are my age or older, you would remember his joke on the last day of class...and the x-Ray that went with it...RIP Dr. Kirk.
