It may not be enough for us to just win out. Fortunately, we are going to get some.
Of the teams in front of us:
* either Iowa or Ohio State will lose
* either Notre Dame or Stanford will lose
* Stanford also has to play Oregon and rival Cal and in the Pac-12 championship game, none of which will be gimmes
* Ohio State will get challenged against Michigan St. and Michigan and the Big Ten championship game.
* Iowa is going to get beat before the Big Ten championship game I bet, either by Minnesota or at Nebraska.
* Alabama plays at Mississippi State and at Auburn and in the SEC Championship game (maybe)
* Clemson will play at So. Carolina (rival game ) and probably No. Carolina in the ACC championship. A much easier path than the others.
Notre Dame has, in my opinion, the easiest path: Wake Forest and BC at home before going to Stanford. Get past Stanford, and I find it hard to believe that they'd be left out.
