Looking ahead is a bit of fools gold at my advanced age- soon to be 77- but it keeps me going. I think we could be pretty good next year. The second and third teamers on the off line are probably intrinsically better than the hundred year old starters. Ford could be preseason all Big Twelve- if he isn’t doing twenty to life for murdering someone on the field this year. King, Shettron, Freeman are a good start to having a good wide receiver Corp and if Stribling were to come back even better. We have our elite running back- maybe- in fields and we get the Arkansas kid back. QB should be adequate and maybe a lot better. Assuming our 350 pounder comes back I like our Def Line- Johnson, Brown, Armstrong. Our secondary should be better except for Black. We have to conjure up a few linebackers but like they say about fifty lawyers at the bottom of the ocean- a good start.
