Any pubs, markets, or parts of the city that doesn't get the hubbub of the standard touristy stuff that I need to see or do?

I love the royal parks when the weather is good.

Greenwich is fun, take a boat down the Thames, check out the Cutty Sark and Royal Observatory.

The Imperial War Museum is great.

Brixton Market is a pretty funky experience, very different from generic English London, lots of African, Asian, Carribean culture.

We really liked the Churchill War Rooms, but understand that could be considered "touristy".

The open spaces they have in their parks are so nice and peaceful.

Borough Market (pretty close to the London Bridge tube station) was nice. Tried my first kangaroo burger there. Very lean, but must have had something in it. I felt all hopped up on something afterwards. :)

It may be considered touristy, but I did a Jack the Ripper tour on a Sunday night. It was great.
