Confession: I only watched the last 10 minutes of the TCU game. Got stuck at work with an emergency. DVRed the whole game, but didn't go back and watch the crappy portion I missed before tuning in for the final 10 minutes. So, I may have missed Lindy looking like shit during the first 3/4 of last night's game.
With that out of the way....
Lindy was dropping some dimes last night. He was making some sweet passes that I have never seen from him before. I was like "where the heck did this come from?" Between that, and improved ball handling this season, I am now of the opinion that 2G might be his best position. He has a height advantage against most 2G, and can really stress the defense at that position. I expect him to gain some strength in the off season, and that may make him more adept at driving to the basket. A month ago, I was hoping that Watson is capable of playing 2G, as I figured Lindy was locked into SF. Now, I can envision the opposite being our best option.
One negative on Lindy. He pushes off with his off hand all the effin time. How he gets away with it, I have no idea. He almost never gets called for it.
