We are real.
We just aren’t prone to following party leadership over our own personal positions.

I don't keep up with them, but from the outside looking in they need to coalesce around some talent at the top and spend some $$ in advertising and registration. I've never seen any outreach of any kind in Oklahoma.
It seems like a basic contradiction to expect collective success (i.e. an organized political party having electoral success) when their ideology eschews collective compromise and effort.
It is a basic contradiction between the pragmatic libertarians and the idealists/utopians that until resolved somehow will keep the Libertarian Party a fringe one.
And why utopian/idealistic libertarians are mostly in it so they can feel superior about themselves knowing that nothing will ever result or change for them.
Actually very few "utopian/idealistic libertarians" participate in the Libertarian Party. The "pragmatic/realistic libertarians" pretty much have the party to themselves. I know a few "utopian/idealistic libertarians" personally, actually consider myself to be one, and none that I know regard themselves a superior to anyone. The effete snobs that you seem to think we are is a figment of your imagination

I know quite a few utopian/idealistic libertarians myself....and my description is accurate for all of them....and your posts here reek of superiority complex as well.

I haven't taken you off ignore. I was curious what you would say, and sure enough you said about what I expected. Awhile back you claimed you were on this board only for your amusement. I believe it was the same post where you called yourself an arrogant asshole. Today you say you are amused. If that doesn't reek of a superiority complex I don't know what does.

Don’t worry, you’re still on ignore, with the exception of this thread. It’s funny you think by admitting you’re an asshole that proves you’re less than a stellar human being. To be sure I think you were about half crocked that night, but your assertion of assholedness along with your claim you only came on this board to amuse yourself was hardly an admission of humbleness.
None of which has any bearing on the subject at hand. “Utopian/idealistic” libertarians see the “pragmatic/realistic” ones as philosophically in error. Nothing more than that. Maybe it’s the fact that you can’t bludgeon, bully, insult them into acquiescing to your point of view that gives you such distaste for them. Maybe they return fire, rhetorically speaking, which is something you have trouble dealing with.
They don’t return fire. They say what they have to say then turtle up, claim they are being attacked, and give me the silent treatment.
In other words, they act exactly like you.
