I count it as a good beginning.

While America seems bitterly divided over many political questions, the rising tide of economic good feelings that swept America in the wake of the election of President Donald Trump shows no signs of abating. And there is widespread agreement among Americans that the Trump administration deserves credit for America’s economy.

The latest CNBC “All American Survey” finds that 30 percent of the public are both optimistic about the economy now and for the future, the second quarter in a row that present-future optimism scored so high. That’s the highest reading in the survey’s 10-year history.

Interesting reads on two articles by NY Post reporter. Gives incite into why Trump was elected and why he is still popular with average Americans but loathed by the elites and establishment.

First is from Aug 2016:

Then from this past Saturday:

The establishment types stand around in a perpetual circle j telling each other what they want to hear while trying to perpetuate the narrative of the day. People are on to it as never before, and to an extent I never thought I would see. I love it.

Funny how both parties and the liberal media are completely blind to what the results of this election were really saying.

Will be curious to see how all of our Oklahoma and TX cons treat Biff if oil keeps going down. Under $43 this morning.

What a weird or ignorant preponderance.

I know it's a foreign way of thinking for you, but I can assure you that no "Oklahoma and TX cons" will feel victimized by DJT due to low oil prices.

In recent years, oil peaked at 9% of the Texas economy in 2014 (and was under 2% of the Texas economy around 2000). Not a material impact on Texas like it was in the 1980s and before. But, even then, the oil folks are aware that the President doesn't set oil prices.

I don't think they are dumb enough to believe the president can manipulate oil prices like the lefties are. Remember when Obama tried to take credit for cheaper gasoline while doing everything in his power to put the shaft to the oil and gas industry? I do too.

You'd be surprised. Don't underestimate an oil man's ability to assess blame during a down turn. I heard them rip Clinton in the 90's (awful time in the oil patch -- clients were selling everything off to survive) and lay into Obama like he wakes up every morning and sets the price over his eggs.
