Good point JD....if they lied then obviously they should have been gone yesterday. Would they still have to say something though if never charged and or convicted? Admittedly don't know much about the whole security clearance process though.

Yeah. They would be expected to reveal those types of allegations and the existence of protective orders in a security clearance background.
