I doubt this is from buying food or other necessities. I look around and I don't see people adjusting their lifestyles much due to inflation. They are still buying $300 baseball bats for 8 year olds and eating out 5 times a week. There are 15 people at the office where I work and there maybe 3 cars more than 3 years old with several luxury brand cars owned by people making less than $25 an hour. I am happy to lay a lot of the inflation mess at the feet of Biden's dumbass policies but the consumer debt is due to people's dumbass spending habits.
I see it, people that don't make a lot of money are only buying what they need, food, gas etc and are barely able to do that. A lot more people are living paycheck to paycheck.
My neighborhood Stripes had E-10 at $1.74 on Election Day. The apologists now expect me to stand on my head and stack greased bb's because regular gas is $2.89.
