KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID.
This is an acronym I remember from my Air Force days and still hear it used in my current position.
Watching our offense it seems like we over complicate everything. Every play seems to be a struggle, even the successful ones, like we are trying to be to cute or trying to confuse the defense so much they will just fall on their faces (which the opposite has been true). Maybe I've had to many beers today and I admittedly know very little compared our football staff, however I think this principle is universal. I wish our coaches would just simplify and succeed.
I dunno, maybe I'm wrong, maybe we need a thicker playbook with more screens.
