Here is my take. It has nothing to do with where she stands politically. It's because she has a 'D' by her name in a district that has been turned from red, to purple and on it's way to becoming blue... because of Hispanic immigration (and older voters being replaced by brainwashed younger voters).

Back to the immigration part... I'm in the middle of all this. I know the people personally and very closely. I talk to them during the time they attend their 'pathway' classes. They are good people. But when they receive their US citizenship (which I am 100% for), and they ask the registrar which box to check off when registering to vote, they are told "Democrat". So like the typical gullible, uninformed Democrats they are, they vote because of the "D". They are told (by their media) and they believe - Republicans are against them. Steve Russell never saw it coming because Republicans generally sit on their hands. Horn only needed 1.5% more votes to flip the district.

That is a microcosm of what the Dems are doing to this nation. Change from red, to purple, to blue via immigration. Most of these people care nothing about American history, our culture, our government or the truth. They are here to make money, not to assimilate. (What the hell is American culture anymore anyway?) They are just votes for the Democrat party. The corrupt scheme is working and it's unstoppable.

She worked her ass off. Talked about health care. Russell waved a flag and ran pictures of himself in an army uniform. He gave nobody a reason to vote for him.

^^^Armed Forces hater?

It doesn't break my heart that Russell was replaced. He was a Bush Republican, the worst kind. Loves open borders.

When I was in Oklahoma there were hardly any Mexicans things must have changed a lot

From memory, Oklahoma's 5th District looks like this.
70% White
17% Black
9% Hispanic
3% Asian

That doesn't add up to 100%, but it's close. It's not difficult to see how Horn could come up with 50.5% of the vote. Note: The Asians I know are mostly conservative.

Is this a joke?

In 1980, there was a small Hispanic population in El Reno and south of downtown OKC to about SW15th, east of the Stockyards. SW 29th was “Cowboy Town” with Jude-n-Jody furniture and all the used car lots. Remember Southwest Ford? SW59th and Penn. Sears, Target, all that is now gone. The change started mid-80’s and has been accelerating since. All the way to Moore, OK.

Ali wasn’t here in 1980.

I wasn't there in the 80's.
But didn't the Europeans moved to America for money and land also

If I remember correctly they just landed and took over and the threw the British out.
Immigration laws came much later

The Europeans threw the British out? I don’t know Pakistani history at all so you get a pass for this.

However I’m not pretending to know Pakistani history on a message board based in Pakistan.

Yes. Legally.

Yep. Before there were social safety nets in place and when the risk of catastrophic failure was high.

Now that opportunity is high and risk is low, everyone wants to come enjoy the profits.
