I wouldn’t mind Russell trying his hand at governor or Senate one day.
He made a pledge not to go negative in the campaign. He kept that promise.

surprising but no problem with it. Maybe Russell assumed way too much and didn't hustle enough. Good to get some new blood in there but unfortunately they will sadly slowly become like the rest. Another candidate who was a democrat but lost was the lady running against Pinnell...Pittman. I saw her on tv being interviewed and she seemed pretty sharp and experienced. Glad Pinnell won but she would have been ok as well. She may try again. Oklahoma democrats are still fairly reasonable to a degree and don't do too much that is way out there. What does the lt. governor do anyway? run for governor next time??

Russell refused to go negative, which is all horn did. Shows you what world we live in now. Steve Russell is a good an honorable man.

And went on to lie about it, also he didn’t really hustle or try hard on this campaign, some say he wasn’t interested in going back to Washington under this president. Oh well.
I don't understand this part of elections. I don't care how hard a politician campaigns. I know what I believe and will vote accordingly.
How dunderheaded can a voter be that is swayed by an extra flier in the mail, a smile or a handshake?
I've met Bill Clinton several times. I liked him and found him personable. I never voted for him.
