Kamala Harris aid goes out in a blaze of glory

The problem with racism and sexism is that the victim confuses opposition to them as being a byproduct of their minority status rather than their position/character.

Not all. Racism and sexism can be very easily recognized by those who don't live in denial.

For example, opposing or politically attacking a minority woman candidate over her support of Medicare for All or the Green New Deal is not sexist or racist. Opposing or politically attacking a minority male political leader over his support of the Iran nuclear deal or his health care plan is not sexist or racist either.

However, attacking or opposing a woman candidate by claiming she slept her way to the top is sexist. Attacking or opposing a minority woman candidate by calling her and other women candidates "mean" or "nasty" can have sexist/racist overtones. Attacking or opposing a minority male leader by calling him names based on his skin color, or by claiming he isn't really an American, or trying to paint him as "different" is all racist is nature.

Opposition based in policy differences and opposition based in racism and sexism are very easily distinguishable.

For the record, I am not claiming that racism and sexism are the sole reasons Harris has failed to gain traction so far in the Democratic primary. Clearly other factors are at play too and Harris is to blame for some of them (and some have been outside her control).

However, as a minority woman, she does face a unique set of challenges when it comes to racism and sexism that say a Pete Buttigieg doesn't face. And this thread showcases the sexism that still exists with in our own society.

The only people that give a damn if Harris is a minority is you liberals and the only reason you care is it fits your faux identity politics narrative.

The sexist and racist part is when you can't speak about someones else's indiscretions and their use race as a weapon against others because they are a minority or a female.

She'd be just as open to ridicule if she was white or male for her actions but some how in the lefts mind she souldn't be treated equal she should have a protected class. That is racism and sexism.
