I am bored and here are some of my mentally unstable thoughts.

Nixon and Kissinger believed in a something called Strategic Distraction. Keeping your enemy busy with other things than their main mission.

One example is we hit them with a major cyber attack. They will have to use resources to battle it.

The ultimate Strategic Distraction we could hit them is their isolated state of Kaliningrad. It is on the Baltic sea and is their only port that does not freeze over. It is also separate from the rest of the country. It is landlocked by Lithuania and Poland.

Lithuania, Poland, USA and or NATO. Needs have a massive troop build-up on their borders and conduct lots of military exercises. That should distract Putin and resources from the Ukraine

Then just keep doing more of that. Like major naval maneuvers down near Sochi.

what could be also done....tell Kaliningrad, that if they vote to leave russia, they will be allowed into the EU as an independent country and automatic membership to NATO.
