I was cleaning out some old magazines in the "throne" room of the office at the feedlot this weekend. I found a 2010 Sporting News College football mag. I have seen some bad predictions before but this may be the worst. This is too good to paraphrase so I am going to give the whole article:

Last year' Big 12 title game portends a new defensive style

The offensive freak shows that largely defined and entertained the Big 12 may be a thing of the past.. Players who posted the eye popping numbers-and the coaches who scripted the plays-have moved on.

Eras have closed for record-breaking quarterbacks such as Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford, Zac Robinson, and Todd Reesing.

The guru of the modern spread offense, Mike Leach, was bounced from Texas Tech.

Defense is looking like the new theme, and no game demonstrated the philosophical shift more than last year's Big 12 championship encounter when Texas outlasted Nebraska 13-12 in a contest that featured one touchdown, 10 sacks, 17 punts and 308 total yards.

The magazine goes on to predict Texas as the conference champ again(they finished dead last in the south) and they predicted OSU top be 6th in the south division(we finished tied for 1st with uo).
