Kind of a spur of the moment trip. No hunting report as there was no hunting done. okstate28, a feller named Joe and me worked our tails off for three days. There was a bulldozer and 1,000 pounds of corn involved, along with chainsaws, weedeaters, temperamental power equipment (that don't like old gas). Lots of work done and those boys are still down there...I had to be back for the WVU game. Whipping 5,000 acres back into shape is hard work. So hard it motivated ME to get back into some semblance of "in shape."
So, no hunting report this go-round, but...it's not really a hot time down there just yet (though the temps hit 85 for a high), but a month or so from now, I'm guessing there will be some positive reports from near Del Rio. Stay tuned...
