“I am not the president’s lawyer,” Garland said in his opening statement. “I will also add that I am not Congress’s prosecutor. The Justice Department works for the American people.”
I'm calling BS on this statement. Garland is acting as the President's lawyer, ignoring Congress and only works for half the American people. That's the way myself and millions of Americans see it. When half the country thinks you have a double standard that is a huge problem whether you want to admit it or not.

Everytime there is one of these Congressional hearings it reminds me of the old analogy involving monkeys and footballs or may be circles and jerk.
When half the country thinks Garland and the DOJ are a bunch of lying POS there is a problem no matter you political affiliation.
