Interesting article for those that read the whole thing. Wish they would wait until she is out of office though, say in 2021, she is invaluable right now as a face frame for the D's.
Make her look like a victim of attacks (which the media is already trying to do) and she will tougher to deal with. Look at Trump. Even for me, someone who despises the man, I have gained some sympathy for him. Same thing happened with Obama with the birther criticism. Same thing with Hillary and the servers/embassy issues. I am not saying the attacks are necessarily unwarranted nor am I saying they are right. Constantly shoving it down throats does not pay off, and can be bad battles to take.
I have no idea how this will play out, but I am not convinced it will end the way that JW will want it.

Or build a big case and drop the hammer at once. The poking and prodding is more annoying than anything. I find her dangerous and would love to see her taken down IF all of the information is reliable and accurate. Even a slight miss will be detrimental to any case against her. If the information is not accurate, then she can continue as she pleases (within the law).
They provide quite a lot of incriminating information.

I’m sorry, did Trump file the lawsuit? I get you feel that you have to jump in and try to defend him at every opportunity, but this has nothing to do with him. Judicial watch filed the suit.
As for Trump, yes, I am certain he can throw spaghetti against the wall and some sticks really well. I have come to the conclusion with Trump that 50% of what he says is bullshit, and he knows it. It is up to everybody else to figure out which half is truthful. Not saying it is a bad strategy as it is working out for him. Hell, he has moments where, even I, can see him as a sympathetic character.

How so? Credible accusations have been made, without a credible response from her. Investigate it and find out what the truth is.
I also brought up Obama and Hillary. Making the point why I can see this backfiring. I also said how this type of thing (judicial watch) makes unlikely candidates as sympathetic characters. Still has nothing to do with what you said.
It's not like the Judicial Watch is calling for a FBI or Special Council investigation, it's a House Ethics complaint.
That is correct, however, what is the endgame here? If this doesn’t stick, are they going to nitpick at her? She is at a higher risk of hanging herself. If she gets through this unscathed, then another miss, etc, she becomes sympathetic. It helps her far more than it hurts if these blows are not landed.
The end game is to find out if the evidence proves she broke the law.
Is that really the endgame? If so, that is all the Democrats are doing to Trump. Continuing to seek evidence that maybe, somewhere, somehow, possibly, sorta, definitely probably Trump did something actionable. It is a bad model, one that has benefited Trump. The same thing that destroyed the birther movement and gave Obama some kevlar. The same thing that made the Hillary servergate and embassy issues go numb. I think this is a weak battle, one that will not help any cause to take out Omar. If this falls flat, it will only help her out. For their case, I hope they are right, but there will be blowback either way.
Did you file the complaint? That is my point. You and I have nothing to do with any of this. Were you satisfied with how the Hillary server issue and embassy issues ended? Same thing will happen here. No matter what happens in the end (for either side), it does not end. Not to make rd go all orgasmic or anything, but look at the russia probe with Trump. No collusion, so the goal post was moved to, well maybe he tried to obstruct. Again, no endpoint. The Obama birther movement had the same, predictable outcome. Those that did not want him still did/do not believe the results.
Fitton is razor sharp. And he’s not a politician. I don’t see a downside.
In other words the rule of law is meaningless and has been replaced with politics. I guess if a person is in politics they are now considered above the law in the eyes of some people. SMFH.
Yes, that is exactly what I have been saying. Go ahead and shake your head all you want, but you completely miss the point. Politicians should absolutely be held accountable, more so than the general population. Sadly, if you are going to go after a lawmaker, you have to bring a lot more heat, because if you miss, they do become "above the law" to those that can actually do something about it. Even then, this is not a case trying to bring her in front of the court, it is filing an ethics complaint. Not quite the same thing. Take her down if it can be proven, but they miss, look out.
