Guys what is this feud between Trump and Mcain( he has been dead long time ago)
I read a lot about Mcain during 1988 elections and I thought he would have won if he had'nt
picked Sarah Palin as his vice president candidate.
He seemed to be a very decent man a conservative but rational,He was a war hero who
probably would have been released earlier as prisoner of war because his father being an admiral
but refused.
I could not pick between him and Obama. If I remember correctly this board was really for Mcain.

I think McCain did himself in by running an ineffective lackluster campaign. Palin would rank far down on the list of reasons he lost. She pulled a larger crowd than he did on the campaign trail. McCain's refusal to go after Obama and his decision to suspend the campaign and return to DC for whatever he returned to DC for were more consequential than picking Palin.

Sorry about saying 1988 and not 2008. But the repeal of obama care only got 43
votes in favor and republicans held a 51 to 49 lead in the senate therefore there must have been other republicans who voted against the repeal so why single out Mcain.

Remove McCains military service from consideration and he would have gone to jail (Keating 5) and been considered one of the worst R senators in quite sometime. As a politician he held other people to an honor code he himself couldn’t measure up to and was a veritable cornucopia of scumbaggery and fraud. He actually campaigned and recieved money to repel obysmal care then when it came to nut cutting time let his personal vendetta with Trump influence his vote.....a vote that effected a whole country. For that he’ll always be seen as a selfish prick.

The media in true fashion and as mentioned above, have taken his comments out of context and throw bits and pieces out there for the generally ignorant public to make it look like Trump is fixated on demeaning McCain.

Most conservatives I know respect McCain for his military service, as it should be, but absolutely loath him for his political deficits, which were many.

My guess is that we'll all get to find out soon. The Meuller report had to get released before some other things can happen. Hopefully one of those things is declassification.
