Went to practice on Friday, whole lot of new faces in the room. John says 13. Talented incoming, coaches got there hands full with all those freshmen, will be checking who got the most grey hairs by the end of the season. We also have a 22 year old true incoming freshman in Joe Scurmacher who has some talent. Here is a article on him about his life after high school. Glad to have him and welcome aboard Joe. http://bismarcktribune.com/sports/local/schumacher-finds-his-way-on-the-mat/article_81e6fa18-2229-11e2-8a9f-0019bb2963f4.html

141/149 same school as Ryan Blees and just wanted to wrestle for John. Could be a new starter at 141 this season, him and Davey Dolan looked real good. I thought Davey might be a 149 this year but when I saw him I could tell he was working on being our 141 this year. Anthony Collica is huge, i mean really huge upper body. Anthony was wrestling Kyle Crutchmer and they looked about the same weight (looked to me he is going to RS). i see both Altons will not wrestle at PSU this year so they are out of the race. I'm not sure we have the firepower this year but we are close. Could this year John pull out all his tricks to make a run?

Alex is going to be a huge 165 pounder, amazing about how much weight he cut last season. Him and Jordan Rogers we're wrestling, Marsteller and Chandler Roger, Blees and Koo, Heil and Harding, Marsden and Allan, Schafer (big 197) I think Bean together. Some of the slickest low singles and double legs I saw came from Torres. If Eddie doesn't come back this season it will be between Miller, Kline and Gentzler at 125. Had a great time in Stillwater and looking forward to my next visit.

Almost forgot we had a top 5 pound for pound recruit visiting OSU, Nick Piccininni NY 125, ranked #1 in his weight. he got to meet the real italian stallion- me on his visit (just kidding for the people that don't know me) but the biggest stallion that was in the room was Doc, in his upper 70's and was cut up in his shirt. Doc put everybody in the room to shame.
