Seriously an awesome fall for music so far
No doubt .. I'm already in deep and more shows keep popping upIt is crazy. My wife is going to kill me if I buy tickets to one more concert this fall.

oh, and @Cowguy .. I said good week not Fall.
Add Turnpike Troubadours at Criterion to the upcoming fall list .
With that said, what kind of venue is the Criterion ? Good acoustics? How is a theater show/ Criterion for a band you would normally see at a bar/club?
I differ from a little from your opinion .. I think the acoustics have been average at best .. In from of the stage close to the sound board seems to be pretty good.I've seen Isbell and Sturgill there and both shows were great. Acoustics wise there were some complaints early but it seems like they've gotten it straightened out.
I didn't go but I think the last Turnpike show there was the biggest crowd they've ever had and they weren't prepared. Talking to people it seems the venue is pretty inconsistent. I've been three times and had zero issues though. I really, really enjoy the place.

Experienced a couple issues with their service as well .. I'll chalk that up to a new venue but that should be better by now and if not, they just don't really care. The bars seem to move people through pretty quickly.
The last TT show there was packed and fantastic but I doubt I go this time just because it was so peopley .. Again, depending where you stand you may think the sound is just ok.
Yeah well what you gonna do about the peopley factor that disturbs some folks? That's not just some kink, sir.The actual venue and the location has so much potential if they could get the kinks straightened out and book more than a couple shows per month.
Did you get tickets? It's sold out.I'm not seeing this on Ryan Adams tour calendar, where are you looking?
I am part of the sellout. First timer, very excited.Did you get tickets? It's sold out.
sure would like to be there. Then Van the Man in Vegas in February.
Saw him at Cain's in August or September.looking forward to isbell at criterion 1/4
I've seen Eric several times. I've never seen Winwood. I wouldn't mind seeing him.
Winwood opened up for Steely Dan when they came through Dallas earlier this year. Absolutely amazing show.I've seen Eric several times. I've never seen Winwood. I wouldn't mind seeing him.
Saw TT last year there on NYE. Should be a great show.Anyone else seeing turnpike and American aquarium New Year's Eve? Pumped for the show. Not pumped for the weather lol. Not going to be fun lugging a heavy coat around in Cains for 4 hours.
I saw him at the beginning of December at Cain's. The show was outstanding. I worry about his health. He's a big dude.Caught Moreland a couple weeks back at the Tower. He was fantastic. I've never seen him with a full band before and it was great. He closed with Tom Petty's "You Wreck Me".

Sounds like a repeat of a year ago when the two were at Cains. Froze our ass off with wind whipping down the road. Great show though.PSA. American aquarium and turnpike were insanely good NYE. Terrifically fun show. Cold ass night though.
John Hiatt last night at Brady was a nice, kind of laid back show. Opened by himself on guitar, did 4-5 songs. Then the band came out and they did the entire Slow Turning album straight through, due to it being the 30th anniversary of it's release. Then did a couple more songs. He had Sonny Landreth playing lead guitar. John looked and sounded great and seemed to be having a ball.
