It's newt

For vp.

This is not a Jai Lucas or a bill self is coming to osu prediction, this is the real deal. Book it.

Probably right. It'll be a unassailable figure that the establishment will have no choice but to respect and who will stabilize his conservative bonafides. This plus a list of conservative judges will give most of the never Trumpers the excuse they are secretly looking for to vote for the guy.

Newt makes a lot of sense. Way more than any other 2016 candidate.

I expect top flight nominees for his cabinet. One thing about Trump and other megabusinessmen, they choose top talent to work for them and then hold them accountable.

BWAAAAHAHAHAHA!! It's the all-philandering ticket! The evangelicals are staying home this year if that's true.

Not speaking for the populace but personally, I don't give 1 flying f*ck about politicians' personal lives (short of a Paterno situation). Best man/woman for the job. When libs start touting morality such as @syskatine above, you know they're in trouble. Newt definitely seems like a 90s retread but can't say it's a dumb choice, if true.

Beat them at identity politics. Mia Love, David Clark or Allen West. It really would put the libs on their heels. We get a third of the black vote and its a route. Ten points plus we win. David Clark would be my pick. This whole experience thing is bullshit. Intellectual politicians forget that their entire job description is laid out in 10th grade Civics books. It's not some magic or genius that they have. If it is genius, explain how the phock Harry Reid, Pelosi, Sheila Jackson-Lee, Hank Johnson, Elisiah Cummings, Maxine Waters, etc. figures out how Congress "works"? The answer is this shit ain't hard. It's the bs you gotta go through to make it work. This is an election that requires changes in world view and getting the people to sell morality, exceptionalism, patriotism, basic self preservation, and conservatism. David Clark is my hero and he is a weapon that could change the country if implemented properly. Republicans always talk this experience and temperament bullshit. How has Obama worked for you in those areas. Gingrich would be a good surrogate but VP, what group or what state that helps you in? This is how we've gotten our assess kicked. Picks like Gingrich.

Just being frank with you. I used to work in an inner-city hospital in NYC. 99.9% of the patients and staff were black. I had some very frank conversations with my crew there. There is no way in hell any Republican ticket would ever get a third of the black vote.

This movement is getting bigger pal. More people are waking up. Shake them awake with Clarke. You've tried wheeling out old retreads and have gotten our asses kicked. Trump is getting the black support he's getting now without the media attention on liberal lies. Imagine if Sheriff Clarke is the VP. You don't believe it which is why I'm posting all this evidence. Black people are waking up, just as I have.

I've spoken with many A-As and Latinos who are supporters of Trump. Of course, I was hearing that before the first primary and was told Trump didn't have a chance winning one primary or that he would get support from any minorities.

You could have that same conversation with white New Yorkers and would conclude, only southern hicks will vote for Trump. The media is keeping conservative whites like you blind to the fact the silent black conservative movement is growing. My 3 siblings are all conservative and we grew up liberal. Our lives are much better for it. Shocker right. We are 39, 38, 36, and 34 years old and teaching our kids conservative values. We aren't the exception. If you want more of us to help stop your dumbass Bernie supporting commy white kids from ruining the country, throw us a bone. I have taken all kinds of shit, been called an Uncle Tom, sellout all this shit and never wavered and will die if need be. I want my damn VP.

Phuck that. VP. The tent is growing bud and it will get bigger if you put a face like Clarke's at the top of the ticket.
I hear from many minority clients who are on board with Trump. Clarke would make a great homeland secretary where he could use his law enforcement skills. Trump has already said he wants a political person who knows his/her way around Congress and Capitol Hill as VP.

It's a real burden trying to appeal to people with morals. Something you rats don't have to worry about. Must be nice.

You've all lost your minds. As a liberal, if you want to nominate someone that's for universal health care, open to raising taxes, trade protectionist, was life long pro-choice before he ran in a republican primary, and is ok with lgbt bathrooms.... ok. Just don't bitch about morals, coddling tyrants or integrity any more. Republicans have ripped Bill for 25 years for womanizing. But Trump's different because.... He's a conservative? Sort of?

I'm not a Trump fan but will definitely be voting against Hillary and hopefully, given the chance, will be voting against both come November. Having said that:

universal health care - Healthcare should be affordable but it should be a pro-choice purchase, not a forced market

open to raising taxes - Hillary isn't open to it, she will do it

trade protectionist - we need people who will stand up for American manufacturing

life long pro-choice - I am 100% against Trump on this one. Which means I am also 100% against Hillary on it as well.

lgbt bathrooms - I don't care too much about bathrooms as long as no dudes try to go in while any of the females in my life are in it. I think it is funny libs put it right up there with the civil rights movement. It really says a lot about how screwed up they are.

Eh. It was an issue after so-called conservatives spotted the wedge issue and started legislating bathrooms. There have been unisex bathrooms all over the country forever and nobody had an issue with it. We've all used them without issues.

Unisex bathrooms marked as such = dudes going into bathrooms designated as women's bathrooms.

Makes perfect sense.

Obama administration invoking Title IX to justify the executive branch making laws out of thin air makes just about as much sense.
