... To think how far our society has sank when you look at the incidents that have happened at Penn St., Florida St., OU, and now Baylor in regards to athletes on their football teams.
Each school has seemingly covered up sick crimes to protect players/coaches within their programs -- Penn St. covering up/turning a blind eye to the Jerry Sandysky scandal, Florida St. pooh-poohing the actions of Jameis Winston, OU downplaying the assault of Joe Mixon, and now Baylor and its coach and administrators playing dumb about the knowledge of a transfer the took on.
What do all these things have in common? One, each school sold its soul to protect important figures in their program; two, in the cases involving OU and Florida state, the schools tried to play things off by saying that they had "disciplined" the players and believed in giving players a "second chance."
It is just sad to see what not only the coaches, but the administrators, will do because how important college football is nowadays.
