Is this racist?

Only if you imply that those places being unsafe has something to do with skin color and not some other reason. To be on the safe side blame western culture, and colonization for the plights of those countries.

Fot the record I don't think color of skin is to blame. I think there is truth to the colonization aspect but also religion and culture.

How about non college white males??

White males aren't allowed an opinion. Everything they say and do is inherently racist

I'd have to look it up but I think studies show that colonized nations are better today economically than those that never were. I'd look it up but I don't care enough to do so.

I think religion is a minor part. Especially considering Sweden's significant increase in numbers that consider themselves to be atheist or agnostic.

I think the biggest factor, by a huge margin, is economic health and size of the middle class.

I think Sweden being primarily atheist or agnostic makes it "safer". Cultures love to argue and fight over their religious differences.

I'd like to see that study if you can generate the inspiration to find it. All of Africa except for Ethiopia was at one point a colony. And I don't think those countries are doing better economically than non-colonized nations like Japan, China, S. Korea, Thailand, etc...

I think it was a study of African nations specifically. It's been a long damned time so I could be completely off. I drink a lot.
