You can learn everything you need to know about Islam by looking at pics/videos of Iran from before 1979 when the barbarians took over. What a nice country before 1979:
My parents (and I) lived in Tehran when I was 2-3 years old. Up until '78, then they moved to Abu Dhabi (sp?) because of the unrest. My mom talks about how nice it was, and she says at the time it was the nicest of any of the Middle eastern countries to live in.
I think the official number was about 50,000 Americans were living and working there until 1979. My mom's old boss worked in education there. He has his wife moved there on a two-year lucrative work contract. After two years they loved it so much that they extended it and ended up living there for five or six years and would've probably gladly lived there for 10+ years if not for the unrest.
I'm always amused when I see that pic "progressives" use of the woman wearing a hijab. There's nothing more oppressive to women than the hijab. Anytime there is a protest in Iran the first thing that women do is remove their hijab.
