My first real political memory is of Reagan vs. Carter in 79. Reagan asked the question, "Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago?" I think it is a legit question to ask.
For me, I don't think OSU basketball is in a better place. At least not talent wise. Going into year 8 of Ford's coaching at OSU there will be a noticeable decline in overall talent. If you asked which team would match up better against each other, you'd have to say that his year 1 roster he inherited should beat his year 8 roster which he built.
So... other than the fact that time heals all wounds, are we better off now? Use whatever criteria you think is important in a program.
