You do understand that inspections are a complete waste of time? They have to announce to Iran when they are going to show up. On top of that Iran has nuclear facilities that are off the grid. Inspectors will not be allowed to see that. All you are doing is giving them material to make a nuke. They will do so under the disguise of a nuclear reactor program. Your tradeoff is for nothing, and yes, they make us less safe. A nuclear armed Iran is dangerous when we are buying oil from their neighbor. Make no mistake their leadership hates the US.

You also missed the part where negotiations weren't working either. The deal Obama signed was a disaster. Going back to it to save face will equally be so.
