What's interesting is the number of stories selling this as meaningful shifts in the electorate, etc...when your chart clearly shows only 2 presidents in the 1900s haven't lost house sits during his first mid-term. And the 33 he lost (I think that's the final number) is fairly average. Amazing, history repeats itself, yet again.
