Indy - always respected your insight as do many on this board as you know.
I was thinking the other day about how Ogbah is our only true "elite, super star, all American proven type player" on our roster now. He's projected as a top ten draft pick already and is a difference maker. We know others have talent and potential but Ogbah is there with NFL and All American talent now. And he's a Defensive End for us.
Question - if you could pick a position on Defense and Offense to have that true difference maker (meaning top one or two in NCAA), what positions would they be? I think we know QB is a given so outside of that position for offense.
For me, I'd think having the very best Defensive Tackle would be an ideal start to a teams defense and then on offense I'd prob choose the top WR but that's a tough call for me. Again I mean someone that is elite compared to others in D1.
Thoughts? Maybe it's different for different conferences - if so use BiG 12 as point of reference.
