He wasn't highly recruited. Didnt have many offers and isn't a 4 star. He essentially took the spot of a semi proven back up point guard in Griffen that had some of us scratching our head.
Not saying an MVP all star means he is proven but I do think Underwood has an eye for the type of player that fits his system and I think we got a player in Averette that is just that. Pretty sure this kid is gonna be ok at OSU.
