When you really look at it who is the Wall Street darling? Who is the more hawkish? Who is more aligned with Lindsay Graham, Harry Kissinger, and John McCain?

The GOP has their candidate - it is HRC.

We are sometime between William Jennings Bryan and FDR in terms of political evolution. I would feel better if perhaps the GOP showed any sign of adopting a true Liberty based platform rather than this continued focus on an obsolete and irrelevant social agenda...

I've also been saying this for a while.

The dems that are super pumped for her and repubs that despise everything about her are in such denial.

This election is only highlighting how weak our populace is against the government. It almost feels like all is lost without revolt. I hope the cyber attacks continue for both parties until it all crumbles.

#reconstitute remember?

All we need is a leader. One say with maybe a great deal of experience with branding, advertising, marketing, on a large scale. One maybe so adept that the individual might even reference said activity in their usernames on online message boards.

Or I mean, you could do it.

It's certainly true that A LOT of neo-cons are backing Hillary over Trump. That doesn't mean they "like" Hillary particularly though. It also doesn't mean that Trump could really be relied upon to differ greatly form their goals/dreams if he happened to get elected. It just means they think she is a better bet.

This sounds boring.

Wish I could like this 19 times.

The never Trumpers are just using him as a beard to vote for their neocon.

The republicans against trump are who the people who voted for trump are trying to oust. After 13 months they still don't get that they are the problem.

Hillary winning the election is just fine with me. The Republican party is a disaster. The Democratic party is on life support. Maybe 4 more years of failed "phone and pen" leadership will cause enough people to pull their heads out of their partisan asses and actually support a candidate that doesn't represent the elitist pile of self serving soft serve shit that inhabits the government today. Maybe an actual shift to supporting folks who represent the people.

Wishful thinking...

The Republic will survive, no matter who is the President....and no matter how many SCOTUS justices they appoint.

Truer words have likely been spoken, but these are right up there with the truest.

Did you plagarize your chihuahua or are those your own words? Not that I would doubt you...

The republic will survive but the real question is in what form..... Will it be based on individual liberty and responsibility as originally intended or will it morph into a corrupt nanny state

Also this is a republic which means you elect someone to represent you so you had better elect someone you can trust and then verify the trust. If it turns out they are not doing what they said then elect someone else. Unfortunately that is to much work for a lot of folks now.

What good is ideology if you think the person you voted for has xyz ideology but they have been lying to you all along?

I will give the democrats this they run on doing whatever then fight tooth and nail to get it done whether or not they are in the majority of the house or Senate or if they have the presidency. The Republicans run on doing xyz then never really try to get it accomplished all you hear is excuses on why they can't or will not try. This is why they are in the shape they are in conservatives have finally had enough.

Really IMO this election should be a cakewalk for Republicans but the establishment is so inept it is beyond words

We've survived worse than O'bama/Hillary before.

The political leanings on the court have always pendulumed back and forth between Liberty focused and authoritarian focused.

I'm not worried.

I'm optimistic.

We are a remarkably resilient nation.

I guess I'm still an American exceptionalist despite being told how screwed up everything is.

We have many amazing attributes, qualities and resources (plus two big oceans protecting us from the rest of the world --- besides Canada and Mexico). In theory, we could still have an outstanding century.

But since the immigration act of 1965, we've primarily been importing immigrants from low IQ third world countries who use more welfare (and resources) than native US citizens ---- and have very little concept of free speech. (or social issues tolerance -- the left doesn't want to know that Mexico has the world's second highest rate of violence towards gays)

And we've been told it's "racist" to question the wisdom of doing this.

Even if we put up a wall and deported our illegals (I'm for doing both ---- illegals and third world migrants are taking away resources from struggling US citizens), I'm not sure if we can get our way out of this. But if anyone can, it's the US.

I really hope I'm wrong, but I think we're going full-steam ahead towards becoming another Brazil.........or some sort of Balkanization.

No the racist part is using terms like "low IQ third world countries" and attributing violence towards gays to an ethnic group.

Citizens of Mexico who commit violence towards gays, at a much higher rate than most of the world are Mexicans - yes or no?

"low IQ third world countries"

You're a smart and well-read guy.

I would suggest dabbling your brain-power in this subject.....there are a lot of peer-reviewed scientific studies on it.

The first 10 minutes of this is a nice start:

Stefan Molyneux speaks with Dr. Helmuth Nyborg, PHD about human intelligence, including: general intelligence factor, racial differences in intelligence, impact of age on intelligence, gender differences in intelligence, physical differences between ethnicities, brain size, regression to the mean and the unintended consequences of third world immigration.

Dr. Helmuth Nyborg is a retired professor of developmental psychology at Aarhus University in Denmark - and is the author of many studies on human intelligence, personality, evolution, hormones and achievement. For more from Dr. Nyborg, please go to: http://www.helmuthnyborg.dk

I never expected this from you. You could just as easily attribute the violence towards gays to where they live as you can their ethnicity.

Do we need to fact check all the things Hitler said about Jews before we can determine it was racist? You know he did have a point about them being disproportionately represented in the communist party and in international banking.

Sorry, but I don't do videos. I would be willing to read the papers you refer to.

People who are residents of Mexico are Mexicans, regardless of their ethnicity. Certainly not ALL Mexican citizens commit violence towards gays, not even most. However, if the populace of Mexico commits violence towards gays at a rate which far exceeds what is observed throughout the world it behooves the USA to screen for this (amongst a lot of other things) in its immigration policy.

Our current system is a shambles. I'm for legal immigration. We do not enforce a myriad of current laws and we give benefits (and/or are proposing to extend them) to non-citizens that we should not. At the end of the day, those who have come, even though they have broken the law and they are usually aware of this, can't really be blamed, because of the lack of will to enforce laws and create a better system. If we don't enforce laws, the rule of law is eroded and we really have no border.

Shouldn't we screen all immigrants to make sure they don't beat gay people?

The idea that Mexico has high levels of violence towards gay people because it is full of Mexicans not because it is a failed state with lax law enforcement is the racist part.

No it isn't racist at all. I have no idea what the exact cause of the (reported) violence is. No one has suggested it is a genetic trait. That doesn't matter, if it is coming out of a culture where that sort of behavior is more of a cultural norm.

Yes, we should definitely do a better job of screening ALL immigrants. Just ask Sweden and Germany.

Blacks are naturally faster, stronger, and leaner, than whites.

True or false statement and do you find it offensive?

Come on dude.
Yeah crazy I know

I don't know. It seems true, but it is hard to control for other factors.

Here is the dictionary definition of racism: the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

Also let me repeat: Do we need to fact check all the things Hitler said about Jews before we can determine it was racist? You know he did have a point about them being disproportionately represented in the communist party and in international banking.

Let's forget superiority and inferiority as a race. If one is to believe the theory of evolution then why is it completely unfathomable to think that maybe, just maybe, different races evolved differently to varying climates, geographic regions, environments etc. and would therefore have different strengths and weaknesses? Strengths and weaknesses do not define superiority or inferiority as a race just as strengths and weaknesses on a personal level do not define superiority or inferiority as a person. It's sad we can't have this conversation because some nuts have tried to imply just that.
