These past two games have been bland, boring, frustrating, unwatchable, etc.

We've won two games in (mostly) noneventful fashion, but for me they haven't even been enjoyable to watch.

People have likened these first two games to practice for our offense, and that's fine, but I miss the days where our team was talented enough or coached well enough that we didn't have to use an extra 120 minutes for practice.

The defense has played well, but they are the only facet of the game that has played up to its potential. Kicking game, return game, offense... they are either going through the motions or are just playing poorly. I don't know how a defensive player feels knowing their unit is the only reason these other units are getting two more weeks of practice.

There's been positives, there's been negatives, but I think my main thoughts for the outlook of the season right now are that we have not shown the talent, or the coaching ability, to compete for the upper echelon of the league. It may be there, but we haven't seen it at the moment.

We need to get to a real test, one where the players are urgent from the beginning of the game, and one where we open up the playbook and play to our potential (heck even one where Indy does a write up). This OOC has been underwhelming and not enjoyable thus far.
