Interesting take by the author. It takes severe mental gymnastics to blame Trump and US Border Agents for the death of a child after her father forced her to march hundreds of miles without proper food and water.
Also, it is apparently, according to the author, unforgivable that US Birder Agent were not prepared for the father because he didn’t speak English or Spanish.

It is incredibly sad that a 7 year old died and was treated so horribly. But I don’t get the lib view on this. The father forced the girl to do this. He endangered his own child. I get libs and media have an instinctive reaction to always blame Trump and the police, or in this case Border Agents. But shouldn’t everyone agree that the father placed his own daughter in incredible harm? This is a terrible case of child abuse. We should always want to protect a child, but in this article, the author is turning a blind eye to an abuse of a minor.

Sad, but the only one who will see any relief here is the lawyer they will use. There are 100's of people die every year crossing in remote areas of the SW. You don't die of dehydration and lack of food in 2 days. I would bet everything I have that the border patrol provides plenty of water and food to the people they detain. As well as medical care when needed.

Regardless of the dad treating his daughter like a disposable mule, CBP has an obligation for the welfare of everyone in their custody. Anyone that dies in their custody is their problem, child or adult.

This is likely a symptom of how overwhelmed the system gets, but it's something that must be investigated and any wrongdoing punished, and safeguards put into place to prevent it from occurring again. A 7 year old is defenseless against idiot parents and idiot CBP agents.

According to this article, daughter wasn’t sick and was treated very well.
