Ilhan omar’s District

does not appear this resettlement a good idea

The fact that someone or a large group of someone’s thought it would be a good idea is the real crime here. What is wrong with people? If we really need to support refugees from any country fine, put them with host families who can prove three generations citizenship. Once that list drys up, no more refugees. The generosity of American liberals will bloom as an example of their virtue.

HSH, liberals will never do that, because they can't subsequently come to the American people under the guise of helping these poor refugees out while at the same time accuse those who think refugees should assimilate and prosper without government help, of being little Hitlerites. They need to cram them in an area where they constitute a needy voting block who will continue to vote for the person/party who promises them more goodies, less intrusion in the belief systems they brought with them and convincing them that they can't thrive because the people not like them (liberals) hate them.

Jews and Christians (plus some outlying muslim sects) are the most prosecuted people in the ME yet make up a very small portion of the refugees allowed in. That's not an accident BTW. That dumb ass rep from Minnesota is an exact example of her constituency.

This is one of the most well written articles I have read in a long time. Concise, cogent, easy to follow. Whoever wrote it has a future in his profession.

I found the article fascinating. I did a quick Google search, and if I understand correctly there are around 75-80 thousand Somalis living in greater Minneapolis, a city with a population of 3.4 million. Somali crime has become a major problem in the city. There are 7 major Somali-related gangs in Minneapolis, with a total of 200 gang members, if I read correctly. Isn't it amazing the damage a small portion of a population can do to the reputation of the group as a whole? The crime is rampant in their neighborhood and the overwhelming majority of law-abiding people are begging for relief. As DJT would put it "It's sad, so sad."

Oh, by the way, speaking of Ms. Omar, does anyone know exactly what she's been saying that has so many people upset? She's Muslim, so she probably is anti-Semitic. But I don't know exactly what she's been saying. Has she been making remarks about Israel and the actions of the Israeli government, or have her comments specifically been aimed at the Jewish religion and/or Jewish people in general? I ask for a couple of reasons. First, I personally do not regard criticism of Israel or its government to be synonymous with anti-Semitism. IMO governments are fair game for all the criticism that can be leveled at them. Second, it is my opinion that Israel does have outsized influence on the actions of our government, much more influence than it deserves to have.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

Number two in presidential line of succession — and one of the most well-connected political insiders of the last 50 years.

Minneapolis proper population isn't even 500,000.
Broader PSA is roughly the population you cite.

Let’s just put it this way, if she’s not anti-Semitic, she’s not doing anything to prove it in the way she talks. She obviously has never criticized Jewish people directly, just Israel itself, but every critique is filled w pretty age old anti-Semitic conspiracies (Israel is “hypnotizing” people, follow the Benjamins, dual nation allegiance). Hell, David Duke even said he agreed w her on Israel. She just needs to stop talking about it for a bit.

She doesn't know any better. This is normal language that everyone uses around her. When everyone you know is anti-Israel, it's a little hard to filter what you say when you're not talking with fellow bigots

One (Nancy) gets a spongy yellow backbone when they become afraid to take a stand. She had better be careful. She might turn into a repube.

She also pushed to allow her to wear a hijab while in session saying she still practices her religion. You, know, the anti-gay, anti-feminism, anti-Israel one. Yet she's spoken out for gays and women, so is she really practicing?

Most crazy is I bet she got 75% of the Jewish vote and will again next time.

Yes, and Jewish NGOs across the western world (not just the US) have been leading the push to import Muslim migrants and refugees — like Omar.

It was inevitable this would backfire at some point.

I love fake graphics. Did you get this on Twitter?

Isn't one of the democrats big hard-on issue---a push for separation of church and state everywhere?

They aren’t fake.

It’s a collage of 100% real articles, 100% accurate and very easy to find — you just have to know where to look.

Click these links for examples — they’re all from the collage above.

https://forward.com/news/national/3...on-refugees-unites-jews-with-a-few-exception/

https://www.timesofisrael.com/1500-us-rabbis-urge-trump-to-support-refugees/

Here comes the Gnostic attitude "that you just need to know where to look". If everyone had the same mystical talent to find stuff on the internet that you do, we'd all hate Jews here. Our ignorance is keeping us from the truth. How about just typing the headline in a search engine and clicking the link.

I hate to break it to you, but the vast majority of these articles don't say what your are representing in your posts. That misrepresentation makes the GRAPHIC fake.
