I still want Hillary indicted

I want to see her, him and a whole bunch of their supporters get significant jail time. Obama will pardon her and as many of those he can who know where the dirt is which could get on him.

I think Obama will preemptively pardon. Not because he wants to protect Hillary. But his own ass. Of course, he will claim it's to prevent a witch hunt.

As long as no one shows their hands, what could the rodent in chief preemptively pardon her for? I personally don't care about the personal stuff any more, except if she sold favors as Sec of State. I want to see the CGI imploded though and exposed for the fraud it is, if there were irregularities there, or WJC was hosing 11 years olds on Epstein's Island...that all needs to come out.

I hope she gets pardoned. Let everyone be upset with Obama. Then Trump can focus on the economy. No need to mess with this stuff.

I understand, but we need to see a high level person go to jail for the corruption. It will be healing for the country to see the justice system can be fair.

Good question

Not really. But, the general feel is that a Clinton presidency would be akin to a 3rd term for Obama. Additionally, the last thing this country needs is a reason to become more divisive. Trump won the election. He needs to work to unify the country and start mending fences.

I'm generally sympathetic to this view/approach. On the private e-mail server front, though it's clear she violated Federal law, I'd be "willing" to let that go since Comey has already ruled he doesn't think it's worth prosecuting (I think he was obliviously wrong). I would, however, permanently yank any security clearance for her, Cheryl Mills, Huma, etc.

On the the matter of the Clinton Foundation, and pay for play while HRC was S-of-S, I'd be a lot less inclined to "look the other way".

So what you saying by letting it slide is there is one set of laws for ordinary people and another set for the Clintons and political class.

There is a man in prison as I type who got 1yr for having 6 pictures of the outside of a nuke sub on his I phone. He just wanted have them to show where he worked because he was transitioning out of the Navy.

You can see the same subs sailing in and out of San Diego almost on a daily basis with literally 100's of private boats all over the bay. You can cruise right along side the sub as long as you keep a safe distance.

She and her staff need to be prosecuted. "LOCK HER UP!"

yeah let's be good sports and let treason slide.
IMO, throwing her ass in jail goes a long way in uniting this country. It is still the people vs the political class. Throwing her ads in jail helps break down that barrier of 2 different sets of rules. Hell, most of her supporters wouldn't care anyway. They hated her, just vote for the D by her name.

Is it ok if the FBI continues investigating the CF?

Blanket pardon for any federal offense. I think he could do it

The FBI already said twice that they did not find anything that she should be prosecuted for. It is not like she is actively participating in espionage and attempting to pass state secrets to a foreign power. I think you and I both know that even if a more thorough investigation is opened, she is not going to end up in jail.

As I said, this country needs to work on healing after the ugly campaign we have just survived. The best thing for the country would be a conciliatory attitude from both sides.

The FBI has said no such thing regarding it's primary investigation into the Clinton Foundation. Weird that you are aren't better versed on this. She is very far from being off the hook for criminal dealings - and if she goes down for anything it's because she's a filthy crook - not because she's a political enemy in a banana republic.

Now - does Trump need to appoint a special investigator? That's debatable. But He doesn't need to "do" anything one way or another and she's still facing some problems Obama will likely need to pardon her for.

Sure.

But, "Pay for Play" is not something that they invented. Politicians have been participating in similar activities for many years. Maybe since the earliest presidencies. I doubt a serious investigation will occur because too many other politicians (i.e. congress) are afraid to push for it due to similar skeletons in their own closet.

The standard the Director of the FBI used was "intent".

To be a crime all one has to do is mishandle classified information there need not be any intent.

The only reason she wasn't prosecuted was because of politics. The FBI Director was clearly pressured by the DOJ. Why was none of this presented to a grand jury which is the norm?

Because they knew they'd find criminality.

Like I said one standard for the Clintons another for all the rest of us.

This comment is so far out of line with the reality of the situation, it's hard to know where to begin.

  • Compare and contrast Hillary as S-of-S/CGI/Clinton Foundation dealings with "the crimes" this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_McDonnell was prosecuted and originally convicted for, before the conviction was overturned
  • cite an example of another secretary of state (or other cabinet level appointee) running the kind of slush fund type operation it seems apparent that Clinton Foundation was doing.
  • Clinton Foundation has been cited for < 10% of the funds it raises going towards philanthropy. They didn't even bother to legally register for some of their activities.
  • Please cite a comparable example of cabinet level secretary's spouse being paid $17MM + for basically doing nothing/acting as honorary chancellor of an online university. https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...96db42-655b-11e6-be4e-23fc4d4d12b4_story.html

In related news, John Gotti did not invent the Italian mafia. Still had to go to jail because it was organized crime.

I think lots of people are going to be disappointed in how this all turns out. Makes for good message board fodder though.

Now we all have The Donald as leader of the free world for four years. That's gonna take a while to sink in.

If that takes awhile to sink in,

Consider:

1. Republican senate.
2. Republican house
3. Stocking the SC for 30 years.
4. Dow hit record high today
5. WW3 has been averted.

World War 3? The Reasor's at 41st and Yale has plenty of tin foil still in stock. I was just there earlier tonight doing some grocery shopping so I can confirm.

Look, Trump is going to have to learn to work with a lot of people. First and foremost, his own Republican colleagues. I'm very interested to see how that goes. I'm also very interested to see whether any real policies actually emerge from all of the pre-election bloviation he's done.

Thank God for sports.

Trump won because of all that pre election bloviation.

His "republican colleagues" and the rest of the political establishment need to learn to work with Trump.

Their ideology was on the ballot and it was rejected.

I despise that woman as much as anyone. I think she and her husband are the scum of the earth. Said it a hundred times on here. With that said, I don't know if prison is the way to go about this. Hit em where it hurts the elite the most. The pocketbook. Shut that foundation down and let em squirm. They were stealing shit out of the whitehouse when they left, they were so "poor". Show em what poor really is.

I think she deserves jail but she would be quite a pathetic figure being drug before a judge. Her life is over, let her do yoga and trib with huma for the rest of it.
