Yes, it was with some trepidation I came calling with that Sooner in my handle but, for the most part they've been tolerant and cordial.
Pretty good mix overall.
I really like the lassaiz faire style the mods employ here. That's gold.

Our political board has only about 10 posters. It has good info but only a couple of posts per day. This board is significantly more vibrant and has more contributors. However, our loons could give some here a run for their money. As stated above, one side of my family has Cherokee roots in Oklahoma, Wilson specifically where we are still property owners. The other side has politicians.

It was through a Dodge show room window in Lubbock where I laid eyes on the first Intrepid at night. The dealer was closed but the show room was well lit.
The first time I went to Lubbock I flew in at night. My cousin met me at the airport with a case of beer in the backseat. He said that was a tradition. Worked for me. For some reason, I thought the airport was on the south side of town (it's on the north side). It took almost a semester (and locating the feedlots) to reorient myself to the weather vane.
