I was listening to a podcast where a Marine was asked how the transition was when he got out of the military. He said the hardest thing was the lack of respect in civilian society. He goes on to say that if you cut someone off in traffic on a highway, there is no repurcussion. If you cut them off in a Marine Corps base, you're liable to take a beating. Lack of respect is something I feel is big in society. Too many jerks out there.

Jeans aside....I think it's interesting the impact cell phones have had on millennials. Our work crew is evenly split between those under thirty and rest over 50 with a few guys in their 40's. It's amazing how much work the older guys accomplish vs. the kids playing on their cell phones. Actually, we have one kid - around 23 - that busts ass but he's the exception. I'm amazed there hasn't been some sort of phone policy implemented at work....but that would make too much sense.
