How can one complain that wages aren't competitive at the low end and can't provide for a family yet at the same time continue to argue for a wide-open immigration system which feeds a surplus of low end labor into the market which deflates the same wages they complain are too low. In capitalism, wages, just like everything else, are subject to the laws of supply and demand.

(for the record, just read another O.C. article on CNBC where she's complaining that not all American's are participating in the economic recovery)

How does the same group argue for gay, trans, etc rights then support Islam at all costs?

Jesus Christo.

Does playing dumb-ass-sh*t get tolerated in the law you practice?

Are you sure you're from this country in the past 2 to 6 years?

That's what dumbass lawyers do. Before defending a position that our opponent raises as our own, we want to know if that's actually a position someone has taken. 4D chess etc.

Are you saying that liberals (on average) don’t defend Muslims at every chance they get?
Liberals on average defend the rights of anyone to confess the Islamic faith. Some one that defends the rights of people to be Catholic doesn't necessarily support pedophilia.

I wasn’t aware that Catholics set laws requiring pedophilia.

I’m sure you thought this was clever but, as usual, it wasn’t, and you had a major swing and a miss.

Posts like this remind me what a waste of time this is. You seriously think that's an intellectually honest response?

No I thought it was a good demonstration of the difference between supporting the freedom of religion and belief, and supporting every aspect and action associated with the religion.

What are punishments for being gay in Muslim countries? How about punishments for being a woman in public unescorted?

Both of those things are legal in some muslim countries. You are confusing politics with religion.

I'm glad all the libs managed to find this thread. Any comments on the OP?

Immigrants don't lower the minimum wage.

Also even if you discard the minimum wage your argument suffers from the lump of labor fallacy which apparently I have to remind you on a semi annual basis.

Not a Single time did the Catholic Church write a rule/law allowing for it.
Fair enough I'll revise my statement: "Some one that defends the rights of people to be Catholic doesn't necessarily support a religion that allows its leadership to turn a blind eye to and cover up pedophilia for decades." but I think the point stands that support for freedom of religion doesn't imply support for all the actions taken in the name of that religion.

It’s funny how I make the claim, and you come here to prove me wrong, but absolutely demonstrate exactly what my point was.

I couldn’t explain it as well as you have displayed it ITT.

Thanks!

Has someone from FOX stated this?

Then you may as well go yell at the clouds. You just dont get it -- it is either scripted, or it's not. If not, then it's wrong. I swear that's true.

When Biff ripped Dumbya in the '16 debates... you notice how republicans after that for the first time said Iraq was a mistake? I swear it has to be pre-approved in the Hive, THEN and only then does a point get adopted.

NOTE: Not considered, but adopted. It's unlike anything I've seen.

It's funny how this is the third time you;re invited to find someone that's taken your straw man position and... nada.

We have a solution for that called the minimum wage.
I think he is arguing that an influx of non-skilled laborers drives down wages that are above the minimum.

We have a solution for that called the minimum wage.
Which is a terrible solution as it drives even more inflation and creates a larger pool all at the bottom. Besides, now you are asking to bring in even more individuals who all are supposed to make EVEN more money than what the market would normally support for the activity simply due to government fiat.
