and have been on this board for years, but I will give him his credit for today's performance, win or lose with a minute left up 2. These guys are battling severe talent disadvantage and he has been able to keep them calm and weather a couple different haymaker runs from KU throughout. He's made some good defensive adjustments, has done a good job with managing players in foul trouble (Nash specifically) and been a good motivator for these guys.
Many of our losses I notice many things. Line ups, matchups, defense, offensive adjustments, etc. Today all I saw was a team that left everything on the court and simply out-manned and hung tough all day. I didn't see any complacency or general confusion that I often do see.
This changes nothing on my opinion of him, but I am also man enough to give him credit when he deserves it.
